| • | Contact person for all relevant areas of GRID software platform and HPC topics |
| • | Installation, administration and maintenance of GRID software platforms |
| • | Performance- and capacity management of the administered systems |
| • | Organization and execution of problem resolution and change request (RFC/RFE) |
| • | Introduction of new systems: planning, execution, and roll-out |
| • | Integration with central monitoring and security systems and with central system management and documentation systems |
| • | High knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008 and MS SQL |
| • | High knowledge of Virtualization (e.g. VMWare, ESX) |
| • | High knowledge of market GRID management solutions (e.g. Symphony) |
| • | Good knowledge of Network-Infrastructure, TCP/IP, Firewalls |
| • | Good knowledge of testing (e.g. ISTQB Certified Tester) |
| • | Knowledge of Change and/or Release management processes (e.g. ITIL) |
| • | Knowledge of the current Server hardware and architecture |
| • | Software development skills (e.g. VB/C#) |
| • | Experiences with High Performance Computing |
